But that just leads us back to the question, does benevolence mean doing what's in people's best interests, or does it, for God, just mean doing whatever God wants to do to them.
That kind of question is a DIRECT result of Adam's sin.
Before it GOOD was the thing coherent with God's Will and EVIL was the opposite.
AFTERWARDS people started "defining" good and evil by THEIR standards and this led to misunderstanding the whole thing since everybody has HIS OWN opinion and that is often oposite to his neighbour's.
Only the "UNIQUE" God can have an absolute opinion - no human's opinion is absolute because everybody is equal in having opinions and will never agree with his neighbour's opinion just because the neighbour tells him to do so.
Only the opinion of the Absolute can be absolute. :)
