After my very fast Chieftain win at 3600BC I decided to practice on Huge maps and after only 20 attempts got one wonderfull map for milking. I think when I finish it, it would be Highscore, maybe even Topscore for that level, if my playing skills such good as i think :)

So map settings is:
Map - huge, 60% water archipelago, wet, warm, 5 Billion years, sedentary barbs, domination limit = 4311.
Rules - playing Americans, 8 random rivals, Chieftain, deffault rules.

At 3950bc:

The starting position wasn't so bad. Let's hope that you are on a big island with enough goodie huts to get you to the Middle Age at no time.

Ok. It is 1000bc now in my world. Score=149. I have 40 cities, 37 native workers, 12 settlers, Pyramids (1150bc), AT + Feudalism in science. I used RCP at 3, 7, 10. Republic works. Here is screenshot:

How did I managed to do that?
1. VERY GOOD land with huge number of bonus resources.
2. VERY BIG luck in huts. I got Republic at 2170bc or something like that.

One bad thing is there are no luxuries now...

Now it is 330bc. I have 104 cities, 26 settlers and 106 workers. Also I have managed to connect 2 luxuries yet. Score is 370. Territory is 110600.

Hi IgrOK, you're expanding very fast! I'm impressed.
How about your economy? Did you turn off science or are you running a negative income in your game?

It is time for next news update.

10AD, 2 turns to establish Democracy in America. 139 town settled, 22 settlers in travel to new home, 131 workes trained. Territory is 150500, score 569. Also there are 24 horseman for future wars.

Bremp, I was learning science to Democracy as fast as I can. After that, until milking phase it would be 10% research.

And I have one question to you: why you are under Monarchy at 10ad in your HOF game???

But now, seriously, I was under Monarchy because I was not able to change to another kind of government

Republic is better by the numbers, but doesn't always fit everyone's play styles. For me, the decision between Monarchy and Republic depends largely on the map, and very much on the luxuries.

At 130ad the Great Leader appeared in American army:

My plans changed. Now I would research Astronomy then Navigation as fast as I can. Build Caravel, that would travel to a remote island with Settler and Washington on board. After end of Forbidden Palace building, Washington will hurry production of Palace on island. Palace rank exploit would work.

Next post would be after I do that.
