Look I know Im a newb at this and well thats ok. I have had the game for almost a year and well Ive never done ANy modding or anything. The biggest problem im having is what on here will work with my version of civ3? I think all I have is the vanilla or original version of Civ 3. Id like to add a few more units in, add a canadian civ and well cheat... im sorry i stink at the game and I have the cheat that i save the file as " multi" and I can control the enemies... but well Id like to be able to try other stuff. I downloaded the multi tool and It works off and on...
any help could will be appreceated.

Thanks
Cid

You can find everything civs, units, etc. in the downloads collection:
http://www.civfanatics.com/civ3downloads.shtml
there's a tutorial on how to add the units there, too
AFAIK, all units work regardless of version, I'm not so sure about the mods, though :hmm:

And, cheating is definate nono :nono:, you'll never get better that way

i dont wanna get better, i wanna RULE THE WORLD!!! lol

then you definitely wanna get better!!!
Maybe you can ask some advice of the better players here. They'd be happy to give it to ya.
It's a bit like the saying : don't give a poor man a fish, but teach him how to fish

Noone can possibly be so bad that they need to control the enemy A.I.

How are you getting beaten?

yes iknow but I see all these mods etc and well they look like fun. So I thought Id play around with them but im not sure which ones to use..... I dont have hours and hours to spend on a game, i have a 7 months old son who takes up most of my time but I play a bit in my spare time. So thats why becoming a Civ3 god isnt all that important to me. I got the game as a gift from my then girlfrind now wife so Im more in it have fun. I want to add units, my own or other user created maps etc.

yea, egnore those jumping about being idiots, cheat if you wana cheat, why should we care. What id prefere to do tho is help you to get better, rather than find ways around your problems.

Cheat all you want at the beginning but try to get serious some time. it's no fun cheating all the time. and get a patch ASAP.
