I'm bugged

Hello, this is my first post!!

I play CIV 4 about 6 months now and it's going better and better.
I'm playing a prince level game as Roosevelt and I am noticing a few bugs in the game;
for exp: - a cow pature isn't recongnised on the city screen (with road)
- When I improve a tile I don't get wat I should get (2 ham. + 1 bread with cottage becomes 1 ham. + 1 br. + 1 gld)
There are more but i can't recall them writh now.

My question is this : is it normal that you have these bugs and can you do anything about it. I did installed patch 1.74.

Actually if those are really bugs that would not be normal
Could you post a screenshot of what tile improvements you mean?
There are reasons why improvements might cost you - if the tile you improved had a forest on it then cottaging it would cost you the and give you the commerce - so that is what I suspect, but I might be wrong. The cow thing: what do you mean it is not recognized? does it not show up as a resource in the upper right hand corner? maybe post a save file here...

your right about the hammer getting lost. I did build a cottage on a forest so the hammer was lost. Didn't know that, does it also happen when building a farm on a forest?
The cow thing, well in my city's i've got two cow pastures. One was destroyed by thoes f***ing Malineese so then I've noticed that I didn't have cow no more on the upper right hand corner of the city screen. So there must be something wrong with the second pasture. (mad cows perhaps ) )

Another thing. I build a sheep pasture on a small island within the city's cultural borders. I provided it with a road, and this is also not shown on the city screen?

I would give you screen shot's but ... how do you do that???

The forest is removed (and you get a one time amount of in your nearest city) if you build a farm, cottage, mine, windmill or watermill on the tile.
Regarding the cows: did you trade a cow resource with anyone by any chance - if that is the case this trade might still be on and you are trading away your only resource of cow.
you need to have the sheep connected to a city on the same landmass in order to have it available.
Screenshots can be taken by pressing the "print" key on your keyboard - within in the game this saves the complete screen to
documents and settings\<username>\my games\<game name>\screenshots
where <game name> is either Sid Meier's Civilization 4 OR Warlords OR Beyond the Sword, depending on which you play.

I'm gonna give it up this game. 4 out of 8 civs declared war on me??? I'll start a new one and hope to do better
