That's why I said "In Short"

After a while of my cable modem being off or not accessing the internet my IP would change.

Also with my dial-up connection it cycles through the IP addresses. SSS.SSS.SSS.VVV the S's are static and the V's change. So after connecting 256 times I would start repeating my IP addresses.

The above is why I said "In Short"

i thought*i dunno* that every ISP have so many ip adresses givien to them, and so many of the dial up static numbers are the isp's and the changing numbers are the muitipiles of there numbers

there are only 4.2 billion ip addresses.. so one of these days were going to have to change the system :_)

i guess 'they'll' think of something :_)
