[IMM] Some Random Game Writeup [No Huts, No Random Events, large fractal]

Spoiler :
Again, the barbarian waves are steady, which was the proof I am isolated on that island with only the Minoans.

Overview of my western empire.

Now, the barbarians start to leak in by a new path.

My spy reached the 50% discount. I want to steal Chariot Warfare, but...

Well, looks like I'm pretty surrounded by an infinite number of barbs. Now, barb galleys.

My ways to connect the so precious marble.

And finally, my cities urbanized themselves, for a free +1 health. It also enables the barracks and the caravan buildings, which is discounted in cost for my nation IIRC.

Probably not a judicious tech route, but I wanted to shrine

Finally, I constructed the Oracle and chose Architecture. Combined with Marble, it's just perfect. Let's start the ToA.

And we reached the classical age!

Here's another new that pleased me being the spawing of GG, which obviously means wars between the AI's. I feared hogging all the religions would lead the Mesopotamian believers to befriend each others, but this is TAM, it's harder diplomacy. Religions don't cut it.

Friggin' barbs.

At first I wanted Priesthood, but decided to go for Currency. It's a strong tech and better than PH. BW was pre-requisite.

BW revealed to me several Tin ores.

At that point, I felt I needed a rush in techs and wonders. I started a GAge. Why the GEngineer, bite me.

Look at that, research building is lame.

I made spies instead.

Spoiler :
I mass chopped my forests to speed up my wonders lineup. The culture doubling is easier in TAM since the game spans from 4000 BC to 500 AD.

Let's take a view of the Top 5 Cities.
Well, well, three of the cities are carthaginians. Good. And I wouldn't accept any cities to be better than Carthago that managed to many wonders.

At this point, it looked like the barbs pacified a little. I pinned my javelineers in strategical places to enforce the region security.

Currency tech in. Allows the typical one more trade route along gold trading, but also it's the second pre-req to the caravan house and the sole pre-req to the market (the typical one). Plutocracy civic is simply a civic that gives specialists ability to generate one more gold.

Now PH I guess.

Hey hey hey Minos. Time for tribute.

I don't kick you down, stop being such a wussy. I'm the master, you're the slave.

Now, I am preparing the grand planification for my cultural victory. Usually, a cultural victory is about generating GArtists and building a lot of culture modifiers. Problem is: I can't get easy GArtists before the friggin' last tech of the tech tree, allowing Patronage civic and thus infinite number of artists, scientists and merchants. Can you believe that? To win culture, you have to tech til the end of the tech tree! That's preposterous! A cultural victory is about shutting the science slider down mid-game and grow culturally while hiring a bunch of artists specialists to get GArtists to speed up the game. Dearth of culture multipliers and impossibility of 100% odd GArtist without sacrificing key wonders. It's obvious TAM wasn't made for culture but to choose the road of war. Still, at least, it was adjusted that LCities need only 20,000 culture. Phew, they had minimal sense. Still, I need to acquire a bunch of non-existant GArtist and a culture slider right now would only give lower than 100 culture rate in my two side cities. I know the AI's will win the Silk Race before I win culture. AND AGAIN, Patronage at the end of the game! Seriooussly! They'll be winning the Silk Route before I start getting GArtists.

Hence the fact the cultural victory is the hardest victory in TAM...unless you go all war and crush everyone but one and go for culture. Makes no sense of course. Because you just press the dom win button instead. I want a peaceful (ok not perfect since I attacked Minos) cultural victory and the way is ESPIONAGE. A cultural victory by assistance of Espionage. Hence the reason I will settle two of my newest cities within the cultural pressure of my capital and then spam culture spread missions.

I just need to decide where to settle them.

BTW, here's what the Caravan House gives. Pretty neat for the price. That is 60 hammers for me.

Now, spy, do a good job.

ToA is mine.

The Hanging Gardens are in line, but I need an aqueduc first.

Small improvement in building it via micro.

But I realized later that a caravan house is better.

Polytheism in, a pre-req to PH.

Well...my spies suck.

Wow, my Mids are the best cultural generator. It doubled.

And I got another GEngineer.

I see the Garden building allows me to hire an artist.

PHood in.

And now I see the Hanging Gardens did not need Papyrus, but clay. Oh, I don't have anywhere.

I decided that the Heliopolitan religion is favored and I make a shrine out of this religion.

Interesting, the barb culture recessed mine.

Spoiler :
My 4 city empire became increasingly strong culturally. Another border pop, now in Utica.

Time for yearly gift Minos; you ought relinquish or else....well, well, remains in your sh-tters little man.

I decided to make a small visit to Monotheism for the religion, but especially for the strong espionage building, each giving +4 espionage.

Then I went for City-States tech because of the second strongest wonder of the mod: Status of Zeus! Yes, the pathetic wonder no one finds use in stock BTS because war weariness has no impact on the AI's. But in TAM, it enables the Authority section of civics, allowing the strongest, but normally late, civic. It is Bureaucracy: -25% maintenance on number of cities. So I go from +25% to -25%, which is a discount of 50%! Just like the Government line of civics with the Sphinx.

Here I made a mistake. I judged it took too long to make the Hanging Gardens without the clay resource, thus I rushed the wonder. Still, if I wanted to rush it, I shouldn't have invested hammers. Anyways, learning from errors.

It is surprisingly weird I did not notice in-game how it hurt to swap from Chiefdom to Plutocracy. The first gave me no civic maintenance and going for plutocracy diminished my wealth of 11 gpt. Not so nice after all. Notice the no Anarchy period. It's coming from the Hanging Gardens.

Similarly, I make my new choices for the state religion. I choose Heliopolitan Gods from now on.

I'm feeling generous to Minos...or pity. I trade Burial Grounds for 20 gold.

I delayed Caravan House for too long.

Knossos had its deal of happiness. Thanks to the multiple religions, I was able to whip several temples of different religions.

Well, that took an eternity to get Animish in Carthago. Not that it matters with the Heliopolitan religion.

I just noticed my multiple border pops allowed me to improve those incense tiles. I need more happiness resources for sure.

Ah those barbs. Leave me alone.

More foreign GGs. Perfect. War is the bane of civilization advances.

City-States tech is in. One important aspect is the ability to move the capital...oh yes, that late. So it sucks if we start on a peninsula for the maintenance until that late. Courthouses are enabled for -25% city maintenance. SoZ there and the last building...I forgot what it is....Agora....whatever. Some building I judged unimportant I guess.

Along Currency, if I tech Furnace, I can start the Kroisos' riches wonder that gives a GAge. Gold doubles the production rate and I have it.

I immediately start the SoZeus.

Incense connected.

And we finish with the fact we are the largest nation of the world!!!

Spoiler :
Wow, what is going on in some far away land? So many GGs.

Some exploration made by idle workers.

SoZ.

A foreign GMerchant?

I chop several remaining forests to speed up the wonder under construction.

Still attempting to steal stuff.

My cities are starting to grow large. Health problems are visible by now.

Wow! A Great Artist by some foreign country. What a lucky leader!

Or...could it be the free GArtist from Drama tech? Oh my, if so, they tech like madmen. And I fear for the wonders there too.

Furnace tech in.

Now, the tech path I'm taking needs to fill the sea tech route.

Again. My spy organization sucks hard.

Every GEngineer spawning by some unknown nation always make me fear to lose some wonder.

And the magnificent Statue of Zeus is built.

Off to the Riches of Kroisos.

Spoiler :
To lower the maintenance even more, I start some Public Courts (yeah I mistakenly called them Courthouses earlier).

Oh wow! Mausolleum of Mossollos was built in some faraway land. The AI must catch up hard.

Wow, seriously. That's stock Warlords for ya. At one point, even the IMM AI will catch you.

And at least Exploration. With the bad luck regarding tech stealing, I guess teching by myself would be faster.

Can I be just lucky for once?

Woot! AH like 3000 years too late. A chance I had few stock resources.

Utica needs it. Along some health building.

Another great point of AH is that it enables the Tavern builing giving +1 happy, +1 gold and +2 espionage for the meager cost of 40 hammers. It IS a strong building. Perhaps a mistake to delay such tech.

I got a GEngineer, some dude/gal got one. Sheesh.

With solely 4 cities, of course, the city maintenance will be low.

And I forgot for few turns to swap to the strongest Authority civics. It's a classic.

For the moment I try Democracy.

Exploration tech along its sea tech line pre-requisites were needs for Epics tech, which in turn is needed for Drama. I rush for the wonder and the GArtist if not lost cause.

Few turns later, I guessed Bureaucracy was the best after all.

MOAR taverns. The poor cartharginian people need some alcoohol to relieve them from the daily pains.

And....okay....too late. The GArtist is gone.

Spoiler :
Ok. Time for Liberalism, which takes form as Philosophy just like Civ3.

I have to be fast. I build wealth to make it the fastest possible.

Again, tech stealing. Archery was a better choice because of the Hunting Lodge.

Looks like I'm losing the race of the most cultured cities.

And now the barb axemen...

But good to know the skirmishers have a bonus against them.

And the Riches of Kroisos done. Free GAge.

Will I get Philosophy?

I chose Code of Law. I want the Library of Alexandria.

Now I'm off the end of the tech age...at least for available and useful for culture wonders. Education.

10 turns GLib is nice.

But I need the typical small library before.

And only three hours for a game that far. That is a unusual rush game for me, used to extended warfare.

Mediocre spies again.

Now I start the Great Lib.

Since I will be needing gold, fail gold with this national wonder would be 4 times better than wealth.

Again, happiness problems. That temple will give me +2 happies.

Again, I feared losing another free GPeople from the Commerce tech. Not only the loss, but the prospect of a very very advanced AI not letting me a chance to win culture peacefully.

And....

OMG!

Spoiler :
Oh la la! The Dacians. Where do they come from?

Let's do the typical trick of two waves of 10 gold in an attempt to make him PLEASED. IIRC, if I meet the AI first, 10 gold is sufficient for the +4 for fair trades, but if the AI meets me first, then it's 20 gold.

Problem is I am his worst enemy. That is a strong indicator he is as isolated as me. Probably stuck somewhere or on some other island nearby.

Literature in. Gives the ability to have a culture slider and a new military civic we already know better than the last one.

Here's the comparison:

Oh I see. I came by boats...oh he's already settling my lands.

I took some unnecessary measure for explorations, but I am curious to see the extent of my island.

Now I am no longer the turk's head, I can trade maps.

So it was really that. He was isolated on some island. He just recently explored my borders thanks to his clam/salt city.

Let's do some trades.

Now, I am figuring out my landshape.

And I am about to get another border pop.

Cross fingers!

Spoiler :
Oh yeah! A GArtist!

He looks like a greek Philosopher. I have thought about it and deemed to settle it in my capital. Later, I think I made a mistake out that decision.

I traded some resources with the Dacians.

About to get a border pop in Carthago. I knew it was time to plop down those two cities as future Legendary cities.

Hey, Minos. I am feeling generous today.

For now, it was converted to its culture.

But then greatly crushed. You may think it will revolt back. Nope. Any gift of city (that is not liberation) won't flip back to the original owner. That's under the same rule as conquering a city. That's beauty of the situation. I can crush those cities culturally and do whatever I want. That is making them my two other legendary cities out of espionage mechanics.

Maybe, I could open border with Decebal if I bribe him onto those Minoans. Shared wars make easy OB.

Okayyyy. You're about to DoW me. F-ck ya.

Great Library of Alexandria done.

And from the penultimate border pop, I realized I needed 20,000 culture for a LC. Much less straining than 50,000.

Haha.

Education in.

Construction tech was interesting because it gives the Winery. It's a nice +2 gold, thus indirectly lower the maintenance.

Excellent. The right religion has spread there. That's the point because it gives me espionage discounts.

To prevent Minos to make something funny, I bribe Decebal onto him.

I start the academy as it is a pre-req building to the Plato's Academy.

Meanwhile, I continue my fail gold project.

I start the Plato's Academy.

And I also started to train units. I need to get those barbs cities under my banner before I get those swept by those Dacians.

Spoiler :
Of course, upon the start of the war, Decebal is PLEASED. Why? Bite me. Probably some hidden diplo modifier or he just likes wars. So I tech traded.

Yeah, I pressed you too hard...

Construction in.

I think I'll try for Alchemy tech to get that GScientist. More GPeople, more GAges for even more chances to get GArtists.

But there was also the competing route of Commerce tech, which gave better buildings and a GMerchant.

Bow down.

Excellent.

Finally, I chose the path of Alchemy. So Calendar tech in.

I started some Vineyards to further diminish my expenses.

Of course, I have throught about autorazing. You see, Minos still can grow his cities to size two. So I can get those mine later.

I saw a GScientist spawned and I know that GPeople is rare. I feared my chances for Alchemy were down to zero now.

Looks like I'm going further down in my demographics parameters.

And my little army is almost ready for waging wars against the barbs.

Interesting. For an isolated AI, he's doing pretty well.

March of the army.

Don't tell me....ugh. If true so fast!

Sadly, the small company of untrained axe warriors was blocked a by a wall of archers!

O M G, The Dacians!!! With all the correct settlement names, how amazing! I am speachless. Speachless. I'm telling you, I can no longer speak.

Spoiler :
In the highest levels of TAM's, there are three phases seen from the AI. The very eary game is simply outdone by the AI being faster in teching, but if you choose to value anything commercial, arrives a point you catch up. Beeline critical techs help to get stuff first like a strong wonder of a GPeople. But around the classical era, if an AI has reached a critical size - and that happens almost in every game- it will run away and catch you up fast. And comes the stage where the AI takes control again.

Hence the reason I am starting to fear losing my chances on wonders that I dare to whip it even with the negative multiplier.

Astro in. Gives the Observatory, which is +2 beakers and a scientist slot. For a game where you lose all wonders, this is the earliest way to get a GScientist. And surprisingly, the Academy is stronger than ever. You still get the original Academy of BTS with 50% science, which is pretty strong that early without existence of other sources of science multipliers.

And Carthargo shines for teaching the platonic philosophy.

Seeing I have no chance against this stack, I temporarily retreat.

The Vineyard building that comes along Construction tech is a well around building. If you got wine as pre-req, you need to invest 60 hammers into this building, which takes only 30 turns to pay back. And we are never short of free gpt.

See! The AI is catching up!

This astonished me by a great deal. I don't know what the barb deal had in its mind, but I take it.

Now, the odds are pretty decent. Let's see if I'm lucky.

Hell yeah. That's pretty good.

This is the factor that makes the AI fearsome late game in TAM. I'm fifth and struggling teching my way. The AI has huge armies and fare well in techs.

A pretty good event happened to me. Decebal will become my friend after all. A reminder I can't spread religions on my own until Christianity.

Well, that bunch of composite archers is pretty dumb.

Decebal now shares our beliefs.

Oh my! The situation is going out of control. The Genius of Archimedes is a rather late wonder.

Do you see me near that tech? Nope!

Before my not friendly Decebal steals all my lands, I settle that ok spot. I also want to reestablish the trade routes with him by eliminating the barb city.

Seafaring tech in. Now on Commerce tech.

Even the friggin' isolated Decebel manages to keep up with me!

Still making fail gold out of those NAtWonders.

Now Aram will fall!

Spoiler :
I start the National Epic in my capital for the culture modifier, GArtist GPP and the large heap of fail I will need soon.

March, march my brave soldiers.

So-so odds, but that'll do.

I just got a GMerchant.

Arameans will suffer for interposing their presence.

In TAM, there is a profusion of GEngineer and these moments of always sweating to instantanously lose a wonder.

Because of the bad odds of the last composite archers, I waited a turn before attacking.

Commerce tech is mine. It gives a free GMerchant along two strong wonders.

Now I think going for the ancient times Biology is fine.

Two things:
1) Wow, I'm actually first to Commerce.
2) The Romans got killed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That means a strong possibility of a run away AI.

Decebal is pleased and ready to trade stuff with me. Also, the trade route is reestablished.

Thapsus, being one of the first coastal city will host the GLighthouse.

This is unbelievable! Carthargo is no longer first culturally. How!?

Sad...

I will mass chop Thapsus for speeding up that nice wonder. I want to maximize my chances to get it.

That is annoying Minos just converted to Heliopolitan Gods. I bet on his pagan religion to get a espionage discount for a whooping -40% in cost. Now, it is -16% I think.

9 trade route commerce points. Not really awesome.

Interesting, why the sudden change of heart? A new opponent you met without me knowing it.

Well, with Seafaring tech in, I wil check my far away opponents.

Awwww. They found me before I can find them. That explains all. Hiram is a pretty strong AI. Have the strong Tool starting tech along a strong trait being FIN (but on 3 commerce plots now).

Spoiler :
Hiram knows somebody else I see.

Let's try to please him. Thanks to the Hanging Gardens, I can swap civic and religions like I had the Christo Redentor. So, no religion. And I give some gold. Rule of thumb says if the AI has met me, then it will cost 20 gold for +4 of fair trades. If I meet the AI, only 10 gold.

Oh well. Did not succeed to pleaaaase him. Send the women! Old farts always love them.

I always rely on strangers to demand stuff! Agreed nonetheless.

If I can't OB with that guy, let's reap some gold.

And there! I can see the old fart lands.

Parpatua! Oh, I'm gonna be hated by that guy for trading with Hiram.

Holy Mackerel! Old fart isn't the most advanced!

Yay! We get along. Perfect because I don't want my nearest neighbour to interfere my cultural plans.

Irrigation tech in.

Looks the Minoans decided to take their revenge through espionage.

After all these millenia, finally my people can taste the refined fish dishes.

Looks like Parpatua left him alone.

National Epic. It is sad I don't get the original modifiers. The +100 % GPP was awesome. Now, it is rather irrelevant wonder except some cases or if you have nothing else to do. Or fail gold.

66 turns before my capital turns legendary.

Whooping ~850 fail gold.

Now, I'm marching towards the next barb city, Mushki.

Spoiler :
Ahoy, mateys, let's whip that ship!

And begins the process of espionage processing culture missions. I start to push the win button for culture. Espionage has proven to be strong contender to regular culture games to a point the former has no chance. It is just sad by a unfortuitous bad luck, the dev of this mod decided to make the spies a national unit limited to 4 at a time! Not only regular culture is hard, but now both ways are hard! As if Thamis knew 4 years before that espionage is broken.

Let's find new worlds.

Decebal just got a GEngineer.

And got another change of heart...

Awww come one, piece of thra...Thracia. Wut? Don't look at me. I'm not mad.

Greaaat! That's gonna be a fun trip. Losing spies when limited to 4 at a time makes the culture deal even more sluggish.

Oh hey! They got Gems! Exploration, I should have done, some Yoda says.

Better become my friend, piece of Thracia.

And there comes the pathetic Minos making his temper tantrum...

Marching towards a nice city I should have captured early. Anyways, I'm learning how to play. Won't do such mistake next times.

Excellent! Weakly defended.

Let's see how far Old Fart has explored.

The Germanics! He met the bloodthirsty Arminius.

And Parpatua appeared to spit on my face.

I'm busy not doing useless stuff.

Crop Rotation tech in.

Now, I'm torn between stopping the research and going all for espionage or continue.

Just a little more to get size 2, sine qua non to capture it later.

I lost another spy....

And my ship met the Germanics....

Spoiler :
Oh well. Arminius roleplayed pretty well. He indeed sacked Rome!

Let's see what caused the death of Rome.

Germanics' lands.
Don't tell me...
Oh gosh, Rome spawned at the tip of the continent. No surprised it got crushed by the Germanics.

Anyways, let's return to our mundane business. More blood spilled.

Circumnavigation for Carthage.

Some map trade for gold.

Parpatua, go eat grass.

Ah Minos. A chance I need ya.

Arminius, although you're stronk, go eat grass too.

Uh-oh!

Finally, I can spread 2 culture at a time.

Oh well...

Dacia is my best friend.

Those TAM AI's are such warmongers. No exception. All the time in war mode.

Uh WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!

Spoiler :
Owww owww owww. My big mistake. I forgot about Dacia being in war with Minos. Well, time to resettle that city.

Hmmm....looks like he really wants Minos dead. Not the only one, but he has uses to me.

I recently closed borders to avoid Minos losing my second LCity.

And I got a GEngineer. Damn, I need some GArtist.

Now, not being a coastal city will help to not be invaded.

This is going to be fuuunnnn...

Sorry Minos, I have to fork your sorry @$$. I have intention to give the city under the emblem of tribute because it is not counted towards WE system.

Let's deal with that army too! My soldiers need more blood.

And my GG has come.

Lol at that huge stack of uneffective siege plus only two soldiers.

Ack! Hiram is dangerously approaching Commerce. I want those two maritime wonders.

Minos' last battle.

In shame he must be.

Spoiler :
Since I'm not going to make further warfare, these units cost for nothing.

And there I eradicated Minos' army.

An war academy for my capital. At least for the +3 culture.

Now that I look at the dire culture situation. I suspect I have too much culture in the capital compared to the state of my two next LCities.

I gotta admit the AI from Warlords times spam a lot of their cities.

So close of a true friend.

Excellent! Arminius chose Hiram for playground.

Oh noes. Not now! Dacia decided to make its move.

See! The AI is running away...under multiple successive wars and on only IMM. Gosh.

Always keep an eye on Arminius' doings. He's the risk that poses on my victory.

Near completion of the GLH.

Ok, I need Minos to live a little. Decebal, make a closure to that war.

Now that Hadrumentum has reached size two, I can give it away.

No worst enemy hit see.

Better whip defavorably the wonder than losing it.

I will bring along some my spare GEngineer to rush the Colossus. The risk of losing it is too great. And it is the most useful wonder of the two for giving a boost of 50% to my future GAges. For gambling more GArtists.

I need a smithy to make the Colossus though.

Woohoo! I can spread 5 culture at a time.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat! Whence does that fellow come from? There's no hiding for an unmet nation anymore.

Spoiler :
A vassal! I did not know we could make vassals in TAM. While roaming in the official, I've heard of client states, but there is no implemenation of it. It seems we can form colonies! That's practical...for us later. I can imagine a scenario where I could win deity TAM by forming colonies with which I'll tech trade. I'll keep that in mind.
Anyways, I suppose that client state mechanics is a form of colonianism a la Pheonicia. Like Tartessos was a former Greek colony.
Actually, making colonies out of oversea continents is best because TAM can't allow ocean trade, which makes gains in islands and continents useless, except for some potential colony.

Sadly, I can't please him.

His lands. It's obvious Hiram expanded so fast that the return was too weak to allow that colony to be part of Pheonicia. See the mechanics here.

Oh my! Here that moment came. Arminius is starting the Silk Route Project. We're already towards the end of the game. So fast.

Finally, I can rush the Colossus.

Decebal! Stop pushing in with your vermin settlers.

Oh hey. Just go to hell.

That Decebal is such an inner imperialist.

Hell yeah! I'm first in land. Not that it matters much.

Ouch! Arminius made peace. Who's gonna be his next target.

Holly Jolly Christman Parpatua. Take it. lol

Oh oh oh. No problem. Idiot.

A bit too late to get a GScientist. *sad*

Godammit Decebal, you promiscuous c*nt!

Oh lawdy! Yeah, my lord. Idiot.

Those pesky AI's...

Spoiler :
Some trade for more gold. Since he's no worst enemy of anyone.

This is definitely proof I will have my capital legendary too early. Blunders are needed to learn.

No sly? Old fart, aren't you busy at intimate relationships with Arminius.

Oh gosh, little imp, leave me alone. Why everybody hates Decebal so much!?

Finally, this is going somewhere. I can spread 19 culture at a time.

And my capital claimed the Legendary city status. Okay...

Unbalanced play, isn't it?

Yay. Now 23 culture at a time.

Holy bloody anus. My friend is r@pe by Arminius! And he's army will land next to my island! He's gonna r@pe me afterwards!

Out of despair, I DoW Minos again and captured Hadrumentum. I want to increase the culture seed there. Starting at 1 culture spread is inefficient. That is why I will spam culture in Hadru myself before giving it back. And that is a perfect time to have a GArtist. A shame I spoiled my sole aeons ago in settling it in the capital. Lesson learnt.

And now, I start a GAge.

We're going somewhere I guess.

Ouch! Arminius has reached super saiyan level 2. He got the next silk route post.

This is my last tech of the game. I don't tech anymore.

Of course, I clean the area up of Minoans.

Seriously! Now Parpatua of the Scythians joined in the party. This is a mess.

Argggghhhh!

40 culture spread now.

Old fart is getting hurt in the rump...

Awww come on! I wanted that GArtist!

54 culture spread.

Spoiler :
Ready for the last GAge of the game.

So many war decs and peace treaties. The AIs flicker.

Oh take it. Not that I care anymore.

And certainly, Arminious is going haywire. Warmonger, techer, imperialist, most advanced, founder of a Corporation. This is not going anywhere good, right?

69 culture spread.

A GArtist!

Now ready for the last stretch of this game. Here we go.
