Can these immortal university saves be played with the bugmod?

Most forum game here in recent times provide Worldbuilder saves that can be played with or without a mod. However, some older versions of the forum games just provided one save, probably unmodded.

However, if you install BUG as single player, that is, in Custom Assets, it basically runs without loading a mod. It's just there. This is the recommend install of BUG. If so, you can open any unmodded save and BUG is there. Or use the WB save and select "Play a Scenario".

I did this:
* Start game unmodded
* Load the savefile
* Open Worldbuilder
* Save
* Reload civ with mods, and start the game as a scenario.
