Good to hear from you. This was just a debate we are having for fun, since we need to keep the masses amused, since we are in a peacenik wave right now.
We warmongers need to argue any potential war in order to get some dramatic response.
Remember, we consider the game more or less won, now we look for entertaining operations and actions.

Why don't you propose something "useful"?

Freeing Heidelburg from American imperialism (and acquiring dyes).

Putting a settler between Macao and Swerdlowsk acquiring spices and coal.

Bringing freedom to St. Petersburg (and acquiring ivory).

Note: because of Fanatica's size, luxuries will get terribly expensive to trade for and happy people produce more with less corruption.

Actually, some of us want to counter Chinese dominance of the new continent, and create a powerbalance, by placing peacekeeping forces inside with a ROP.
Anyways Monarchy is too easy, so now we look for situations creating interesting politics in the game. If it were for micromanaging our way to the top and be "rational", we would be playing something else. We are not playing for scores, but for the policy debates and how to drive the process, that is the fun part.
