Imperial NES
This is a weird hybrid NES of Story and Board. Stories would be nice, but are not needed. You won't get any bonues for writing or not writing a story. You may build wonders in the Copper Age. Tell me the name and effect and I'll tell you the turns.
Wealth
To grow Wealth, just say so in your orders. You can't grow anything and at the same time grow Wealth. Wealth is very valuable. Without Wealth, you cannot earn a profit.
Dead: 0c per turn
Terrible: 1c per turn
Poor: 2c per turn
Slowing: 3c per turn
Good: 4c per turn
Growing: 5c per turn
Strong: 6c per turn
Fantastic: 7c per turn
Military
Ranged: Good for Defense. Bad for attacking. 7c each.
Infantry: Perfect for a raid on an enemy nation. Poor Defense. 8c each.
Cavalry (or tanks): Average at both Defense and Attack. 7c each.
Transports: Can transport armies over water. Can transport 3 up to the Industrial Age. Then it can transport 4. 4c each.
Warships: Can sink transport ships. 4c each.
More units may come later. If you have a large army, you'll expand faster.
Confidence
A nation's people need to support their leader to function properly. You cannot grow this. It grows automaticly if you lead your nation skillfully. It is measured infinently in numbers. If you have high confidence, your armies will be proud to fight for their country and will therefore do a better job. If it gets to low, there may be uprisings, coups, or other unpleasant things.
Epochs
Being ahead in technology will defienently lead to a better fighting force. Epochs will be easier to advance if you have more Wealth.
