Congress was in session once again, the first time since the Great Japanese Debacle finished two weeks before. MP Oy Uk'lan was proposing a measure to expand Kipchak influence towards the west, to counter Russian aggression.

"Far too long have these Russian bullies and capitalist pigs claimed that all of historical Russia is theirs. Just last year they marched their troops south into the Ukraine straight to the border of our friend, Kiev! Russian audacity has lasted too long. It is time that the Russians realize that Russia is not their exclusive domain."

As MP Uk'lan spoke, murmurs of approval crossed the room.

"We must expand Kipchak influence across the Russian plain westwards! For the glory of all Kipchaks, and for the liberation of the proletariat!"

It was almost certainly one of the quickest passed bills yet. Lying before President Batu Ahmad lay a bill to expand Kipchak influence eastward. It only needed his approval and within two months, the order would be sent that Kipchak troops were to start moving westward.

But this was hardly even a decision. Why WOULDN'T he give his approval? There was absolutely no reason NOT to claim these provinces:



With a resounding oomph, he pressed the presidential seal onto the bill.

SARAI BATU -Exactly one month after the Peoples' Republic of the Kipchak Horde approved a measure to expand westwards, recruitment for the army was stepped up severalfold.

General Al'kiz Bak has stated that the fresh recruits are being raised to expand Kipchak influence. Across the Western border, troops are being mobilized to march west.

With all due respect (emphasis on due), your attempt was quite lacking to say the least. Try to make your roleplaying a little more realistic. Or instead of just saying "A revolution happened and now there's a dictator" walk us through what's happening. Over turns, too; revolutions don't happen overnight (well there's a few exceptions, but in most cases they don't). So over several turns you can tell us about the progress of the revolution, rather than just telling us everything in the course of two lines.

OOC: I think the Latino nations may have got it again - How does he do it? Its just incredible the way he can churn out so much text and (and this is the true point) it all reads well and makes sense...

But I also think that The Democratic People's Republic of Brazil and the African Coast also may be deserving as they managed to produce several posts and without fail (Exept for the OOC ones naturally) each one was truly in character and read well.

It originated in Colorado. I felt it here in NC too. Didn't know what the hell was going on, thought the Silurians were attacking. I seriously doubt that was what a 5.8 really feels like.
