in game dissconnections

i started haveing this problem recently and im not sure what makes it happen.first of all some info, i have 2 pcs which i play civ on my upstairs pc plays civ4 fine with no problems but then once in a game every 10 - 20 mins i will lose connection to everyone im playing with and ill get the vote box (continue - wait - quit etc) i simply rejoin the game and it works civ4 does not crash and my internet connection is also unchanged. this as you can imagine can get very annoying, my downstairs pc didint have this problem untill yesterday when is happened twice.

is there any information and why this is happening??

How are you connecting to the 2nd PC again?
LAN, Internet, Wireless?

Wireless, i would understand a disconnect, if the range is low.
LAN, you could be missing a protocol (TCP/IP)

Or, IF (a big IF) you have a single copy of the game, and install it on two PC's... SOME (thats a big some) do cut multiplayer games off at any time... (its happened to me!)
