@Boreas: Ack! What happened to wanting to use the Heavy Llama Forces avatar? It's okay, I'm not offended, but did you miss it, or did I make the wrong one, or you change your ming?

Okay, so how many canoes should we have? I'm thinking a line of three. Anyone else?

Sounds about right.
I didn't used the HLF avatar 'cause i think this one is just me.
Is more fitting, do you like it?

How about this:
The spanish ships will be able to travel all water
Incan ships must stay on the coast (maybe the most advances will be able to go in sea).

very good.
but some say that the incas managed to sail all the way to the galapagos island. that mean bigger canoes should be able to sail sea, and not sink in ocean.

I'm not saying ocean, since the galapagos are raised above a continental crack that leds a way of sea. But they do have a patch of ocean between them, so the ships should not be able to travel open ocean, just not sink on it(considering the incas were scared of the monsters on the open sea, they couldn't sail away, right?)

Um, what do you mean by not be able to travel ocean, but not sink in it? Those two statements seem to cancel eachother out. I don't get it, could you please explain a little better Boreas? Sorry, for not getting it, and thanks for explain it.

well i think that boreas means that they should sink in ocean, think of it this way in Civ 3 terms: the incas who reached the galapagos were a suicide galley that got lucky to discover new lands, of course it wouldnt happen everytime. therefore make it so they sink in ocean and there is a chance they will make it and a chance they wont

BTW, it's NOT, I repeat, NOT sink in ocean
like the portuguese carrack. if you direct it to a visable sea square that is distant, it will not sink if it stops its turn (accidentaly) on a ocean square(which it can't sail on).
Got it?

How do I tell it that? I can't program the game (sorry). It can either go on Ocean as much as possible, intentionally, or sink in it. I'll say not sink as of now.

I told you
the not sink in ocean thing is on the bottom left corner on the units tab, along with options like Ranged Attack animation, King, Requires Escort, wheeled...

Actually, the option is "Sinks in Ocean" and you don't select it, but that's okay. Thanks for where it is :). Now we just need to find the canoes...
