incredible shrunken world

i was playing last night and hit control +l and it not only saved the game but it shrunk the map!!!!!!!!!
i have removed and re installed the entire game twice now, and still i face the liliputians....HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you may have hit the Zoom button. I'm not home to test right now, but I believe you just need to press 'Z' again, to zoom in.
