I have invaded another continent, and granted the cities I conquered freedom as a colony.
Now, I have completed my conquest of this continent, but cannot give the remaining cities to my newly created colony/vassal. I assume this is because the game checks if the current cities is on the same continent as the colony civ, and (erroneously) decides it's not.
I believe this has to do with the geography: there's a one-square isthmus on which one of the colony's cities lies.
Could it be the independence-related code that checks for continents can't cope with this situation, believing the land on the other side of that narrow land mass and city is a continent all by itself...?
This is because I can grant the cities independance, only I only get the offer to do so as a completely new civ. If trading with my colony civ, the cities does not appear for trade under the "Cities" heading at my right side at all (not even redlisted).
