Infernals in hotseat

Does anyone know what happens when you summon Infernals in hotseat multiplayer game ?
a) You keep your Civ, and they are controled by AI
b) you control Infernals and old civ is AI
c) you can choose which one you keep
d) you control both, or can add player to control both ?
e) game crashes
