As searching is off - I thought I'd start a new file rather than pore through the entire forum.

What I'd like is a comprehensive list of INI file settings. Including the "undocumented" ones (I've already discovered one that doesn't reside in the default INI file).

Where is the INI file?
Find it in one of two places:
<Civ4 Installation Path>\_Civ4Config (which is actually a shortcut to...)
My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Civilization4.ini

As it's 1am and I really ought to be in bed by now, I'll just mention the first "undocumented" line I've come across:

; Allow Mouse Scrolling in Windowed mode
MouseScrolling = 1

Does what it says on the tin. Switch it on and mouse scrolling is enabled by moving the pointer to the very edges of the window :goodjob: (Windowed mode in itself is not exactly mentioned in the manual... amongst other things!!)

check the Fix it list, i think many of the ini changes have been covered. Dunno where that is? Hit backspace and scroll up, it's one of the stickies. Also, here's something that's not in the Fix-it list, or at least not in the first post, one of the lines in that begins with TrilinearFiltering (or something to that matter), set it to 0. And also dynamicPaging or something like that, set that to 0 too.

EDIT: I dont have access to my desktop right now so if someone could, see what the exact line that is and post it. I'm supposed to be studying for midterms but this forum is more addicting than the game, when I managed to get myself away from the game in the first place, since this forum works on all systems with barely any minimum requirements and doesnt crash to desktops.

I read the fix-it list before making this post. I found out about the MouseScrolling thing reading an SG, of all places.

The CivIII INI file has many "hidden" settings (NoAIPatrol, anyone...?), and one of the Firaxis bods popped the hood on it. Something similar this time round would be most appreciated!

I hope they release a list of all possible commands to the INI files and their possible settings. That would be really helpful.
