If you look in the .ini file for a game you are playing, it will have entries for things like WorldAridity, BarbarianActivity, WorldSize and things like that. Then it has entries for ActualWorldAridity, ActualBarbarianActivity, ActualWorldSize, and things like that. What does all this mean? My current game was selected totally randomly and it says WorldSize=5, which makes sense, as that would seem to mean a huge map, and I do in fact have 15 rivals. The problem is that it says ActualWorldSize=4. Does that mean I'm really playing on a large map instead? Or does 5 mean random and 4 mean huge? I'm just totally lost. Maybe this is one of those things people like me just shouldn't look at. Y'know, for our own good. Kinda like tax forms.

Try looking in this thread. It seems 5 does mean random, and 0-4 would mean sizes from tiny to huge. ActualWorldSize I think is the random world size you got, which in this case is huge.

You can extract the actual game settings from a save file with the handy little utility in this thread. :)
