Install, Error Code: -6005

When I Autoplay my disk I get a Dialog that lets me Install, ReadMe, or Exit.

When I hit install I get an error imediately. It tells me to:
a) Close all open programs (nothing else is open)
b) empty our the temp file (it is empty)
c) Check the internet connection (if you can read this its working)

then it closes with an error number ether -6005 or -6003

That is the sum total of my Civ 4 experience. Has any one else had this happen?

Details:
athlon XP/nForce2 system
WinXP pro with all the latest updates
ATI Radeon 9800 video card Drivers are about 1 year old
512 Meg dual channel RAM

This system plays Sid Meiers Pirates perfectly well.

So appearantly this isn't a Civ 4 thing its a Macro Media install shield thing. I replaced my (perfectly good) CD Rom and it all just worked.
