Install Error

I just got this game yesterday. The first half of the installation went fine, but when I put in the second disc it came up with a feature transfer error. I have tried it on two different computers with the exact same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok because I am a bit computer dumb . How do you take a screenshot in windows?

I just bought the game and tried to install it. First CD perfect, it tell sme to insert the 2nd cd then bam....."CATASTROPHIC ERROR". I tried to explore the 2nd CD, there seems to only be a filing cabinet with about 661619Kb, I open it and there is nothing in there. Whats the solution?

Yeah. I am having the same exact problem. When I put the second disc in my computer, I get the catastrophic feature transfer error, and if I try exploring it, there is just some filing cabinet called data3.cab on it or something.

Corvette, I think I am having the same problem as you are.

I've tried it countless times to no avail

What really gets me is I've installed the game using this CD before! By the way, it always stops at that specific file for me.

(And to do a screen capture there oughta be a button that says "Prnt Scrn/Print Screen" it's located above the home, end, pg up, down and delete keys and to the right of the F# keys)

ACtually mine happens sooner. Right after I put the disc in. Don't know how to take a screen shot like that so I will explain what the box says

Catastrophic failure means that youve got a defective disk.

/me wishes ppl would do a search before posting

There were loads of ppl a while back with the same problem. The only way to fix it is to take it back to the shop and replace it.

Actually, first you can also try to clean the CD gently and retry. Also, you can try to copy the contents of the disk to your hard drive. If that works, your CD is OK.
