installing the game on new laptop..

is the proper order to get to conquest 1.22 like this

1 civ3 load
2 patch civ 3 latest patch
3 load conquest
4 patch conquest

also anybody having problems conquest and ms vista? i get this data IO error when i load a pbem game. yet they work fine on my older laptop with XP. and the game runs fine when i load a previuos save game that i played before.

so trying re install and see if that corrects it.

I don't know about Vista, but Conquests will check the Vanilla patch level and patch it if necessary.
