Installation Dilemma...

I already have one installation of Civ3 on my HD (c:, which is the only HD I have), and want to install another copy in a different directory for the DyP mod (so I still have the original one).

Everytime I run setup.exe, it only asks if I want to uninstall/reinstall Civ3. It doesn't seem to permit me to have another copy of Civ3 on the same drive. Is there a way around this?

I did some playing around, and I think I found an answer to this problem:

What I did was copy the Civ3 default installation (program files|info... blah, blah, blah) to another directory, in this case, C:\Civ3, a complete copy of everything.... and then applied the DYP mod by using KingJoshi's Civ3ModManager. Works great, at least to the startup screen. I don't see any problems so far- and I have CivIII 1.29f and DyP installed on my system. Nice!

Oh, yeah, and created another shortcut to Civ3.exe on my quicklaunch bar and just renamed it "dyp". Works for me.
