installation issues

So I have tried installing it twice so far. And they both stopped at a file called "cultural_victory.pcx" it says to verify that the file exists and i can have the privileges to edit it. When i look in to the folder with it, its there.

But then i click retry on the installer while looking at the folder still and the files size goes to 0KB.

Have any ideas on how to fix this? My anti-virus and ad-ware are already off.

Which OS are you using, and are you a user or administrator of the computer? If you are using Vista, try right-clicking on the setup.exe file on the CD, and clicking on "Run as Administrator." Then again, it could be that your disk is scratched/damaged. If thats the case, then you can try cleaning the disk gently with a soft cloth from inside to the outer rim.
