Installation on Win 7 64bit?

Hi,

I played Fall from Heaven 2 Mod a couple of years ago on my vista 64bit machine and have recently reinstalled Civ4 on my new win7 64bit machine. I saw this mod and would like to play it, however whenever I load the mod it says "Beyond the Sword has stopped working and needs to close."

I am able to play other mods, just not this one.

I downloaded RifE 1.20 setup and installed to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete\Beyond the Sword\Mods

When I tried to play it comes up with the error, I then tried using the 1.22.2 patch and installed to the same directory but still no luck.

Have I installed it correctly? Has anyone else had this problem?

Have you installed the latest beyond the sword patch? What mods are working?

Wow that was quick! I have installed the latest patch 3.19, I have 2 mods working, Fall from Heaven 2 the latest version, and one called fairy tale mod or something.

Currently going for a good old fashioned reinstall while I eat lunch, will let you know the outcome of that.

Reinstalling the mod and then reapplying the patch appears to have worked, well I am as far as starting a scenario at least! Thanks for help looks like an awesome mod!

The mod definitely works on 64-bit Windows 7, as that's what I use to develop it now.

I am happy that I am being taking care of under the development of the mod for my OS.
