My sister was having problems installing civ complete. She's had it on there before but deleted it and problems started happening afterwards. I'm not really sure what's going on either. I got a screen shot of it though.

Any help would be appreciated.

Install the game through the disk, like, go into the disk, and click the installer. It should recognize it since it's on the disk. If it isn't on the disk, something must be corrupt.

Ya clean out all Civ products in your registry also look for a key called 'Securom'. It comes in many forms but its all some type of copy protection that might give false reads(directions) to installsheild
try in here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE

This link might help. It has links to other problems of the same type even a solution that requires you to simply download all the files from a external or onboard cd-write and paste accordingly.Install problems

It's still not working because it won't let me delete that files that come up when we search for 'Civilization'. When we searched for 'Securom' nothing came up. All folders have been deleted too so whats the deal:confused:

hmm.. don't get upset I wanna make sure you know how to get in the registry and not services by mistake. go to Run at the start menu type:"regedit" Now follow the path thats on the thread I linked up. Check all "software" keys after that. I found Civ3 in many places. ;) You may see lots of crap but careful what you erase. Always Google to see what the file is before you erase it.
Check back if still not working

If you fixed the problem Im happy for you. As you can see I had a similar expierence.
