I have read the instal guide, but it might be a bit out of date as it only refers to one file

I have downloaded version 0.70, and i know the main bit of it is the CVGameCoreDLL file, and it explains how to install that in the install guide

Trouble is there are other files floating around and i don't know were to put them?

when i go into the assets folder in addition to that main file i noted above there is a

Python directory with lots of subdirectories and a file inside called CVCustomEventManger.PY were does that go?, and do i need to install any of the files in the subdirectories?

XML directory with lots of subdirectories and a file inside called globalDefinesAlt

Now some of these subdirectories have not got a correspondingly named directory in the BTS assets folder, and some of the files contained inside those directories that also have a same name folder in BTS have files in them that have no equivalent named file in BTS

I guess the long in shorts of it is i want to play with the new AI and new air mechanics etc, i know i need to replace my CVcoreGameDLL file, what other files do i need to paste into my BTS directory and were do i need to paste them.

Any help be much appreciated:)

Easiest way is to play better AI as an own mod with its own mod directory. In this case everything can stay as it is. Simply copy the folder to your mods folder and play it like any other mod.

Or do you want to merge it with other mods?

Well i'm running a non standard version of BTS, with 1 new unit and several tweaks to buildings and the warlord unit in particular has had some serious attention in the promotions dept, these changes are all part of my normal civ install now, so i guess if i ran it as a mod, they would be unaffected?

Ok i installed as a mod, but some of the XML changes i made have gone...i think it's because it uses it's own version of some XML files in this mod

Is there any chance that when you update the install instructions you could add maybe notes on what XML files are needed to make the AI work, and what ones are just there fixing other bug's?

I know solvers patch is part of the BTS better AI and i know his patch included XML changes like modding back in working barrage promotions, i have that base covered already with my own XML edits, so if a file is in there just for that or other similar things, then it would be good to know, so i don't need to worry about pasting that file into my main civ directory as it would just undo other changes and is not required to make the better BTS AI work?

Ok this is a bit embarassing  but i cant find the installation instructions...i found them a couple a days of ago, when i made my first post and got a bit confused as they relate to an older version were only 1 or two files were altered

I i know there was a link around here somewere as i found it before but i been looking for 10 mins now, and have checked all the places i thought i found it in before and can't seem to find it now:crazyeye:, any chance of a new link once it's updated?
