Instant heal exploit

Seems like a bug to me, so I'll place it here.

What I've just noticed, may have been in earlier versions, is that when a unit has a promotion available at the start of the turn, you can attack, then use your promotion you still have to instantly heal after said attack
 
I get your point, I wasn't sure how the mechanics were.

I believe the problem is the ability to attack and heal in the same turn. If I've seriously wounded an enemy it defies logic that he would be able to get back to full health completely and strike back at my unit in the same turn. That's healing at the start of the turn, but it's the same exploit.

In most strategy games units only heal slowly or not at all when in battle, and there's a good reason for that. This instant-heal thing makes a mockery of a necessary game mechanic.
It should at least take a turn.
