'Instant Revolution' and Communism

Hs anyone else noticed that if you are in Democracy and discover Communism that you are not given the chance/choice to do an 'instant revolution' during an oedo year?

It gives you the 'normal' option if you are in a Republic or Monarchy.

I've never noticed it, but since I'm not usually interested in going to communism, it's not something I look for. Does it offer the revolution going Demo -> Fundy? Maybe it has to do with the fact that they are all "modern" governments so they are at the same "level".

I have never noticed it either, but it could be that the program is set up to only allow a revolution when a "better" government type is discovered.

Does it offer the revolution going Demo -> Fundy?

Took me a couple turns to try it, but, no, it does not offer it.

Makes playing in Demo and having someone at peace with you a bit more annoying to deal with.

Yup .... the change of government prompt happens only if you have just discovered a more advanced form of government. If you discover Communism after Democracy, the game will not bother asking. Likewise, the same applies to the discovery of Fundamentalism after Democracy.
