I hope that civ6 will have the ability to insult my enemies. Because it's little bit one sided and unfair that AI gets to insult me and I cannot insult them back on civ5. Lack of the option to retaliate with insults has a tendency to make me to choose the annex the offending civ option because it's only way to get even.

While in Stellaris, the ability to insult my enemies back has noticeable effect of me not annexing their lands just because I get to make fun of them as long as they're still on the map. Even when they're a pathetic weak one star system empire right on my borders. I don't make the effort of annexing because its more funnier to keep them alive until I feel like it is time to integrate their subjects into my empire.

It also increases the roleplaying fun.

I don't know but, I'm awfully tired of saying, "You will pay for this." All the time. Its.. so weak retort.

That would be fun. If you did it enough, they could surprise attack you for a big warmonger hit.

Nice idea, also they should be Civ specific. Like Monty telling you that "you have a nice skull, it will look great on my wall."

Yes! Augustus has been taunting me the entire game and the only recourse available to me was to denounce him--though I at least had the pleasure of watching literally every other civilization in game (even my enemies) follow my lead. So Augustus has now been denounced by the entire world. :mwaha: But it would nice if when he showed up to taunt me, I could reply with something sharper than the Civ equivalent of "I am rubber, you are glue." ;) The response options we saw when meeting Teddy in the demo real look encouraging...
