intalling problem- disc 2

i have a problem
when i try to install civ iv, cd1 seems to run fine and start the install process,but when i insert disc 2, i get a "catastrophic error" and the game quits the install process..

can anyone help?

I have been trying to install all night, getting exact same error.

Actually I just saw this post and will be returning to store tomorrow.
