In going through the tutorial, I miss the minimized interface of Civ4. The inset map is too big and covers too much of the screen. The only way to turn yields and resources on is to open up a toggle box. I realize it is the tutorial but is there a way just to have a small toggle to turn these on? And is there a way to minimize the large inset map?

My problem with the interface is that the spot to click seem to be quite a bit above the mouse cursort (1440xsomething windowed), it is really annoying that i need to check what actually lights up before i click.

Y and R for yield and resource.

Change to "Use Small Scale Interface"

I have the "Use Small Scale Interface" checked on but I do not see any difference.

Anyone notice that mine is now "n"?

(Assuming Windows 7 and default installation locations) in "Libraries -> Documents -> My Games -> Sid Meier's Civilization 5" there is a file called "config.ini". Therein, is a secion labelled "[MiniMap]" and in that section are values for "Mini-map Width" and "Mini-map Height". Changing these values alters the screen size of the mini-map.

That does not alter the UI, it simply shrinks the size of the map within the large box.
