s there a log file I can check to see whats happening?

Thanks for posting your DxDiag. It shows that your video driver is dated 9/14/2009. It needs to be updated. To do so, first look for a newer driver on the site of your system's manufacturer. If no luck there, look for a compatible driver from ATI.

Thanks Petek. Didnt notice this - will try to update and see what happens.:)
 
Drivers updated now and it seemed a bit better.

Lowest settings used. Still get the odd crash especially later in the game.
Funnily enough I notice the graphics going a bit slowly beforehand and/or missing bits/grey areas etc.
