Intermittent problem renaming units

I've been having the following problem. Sometimes, when I click on the unit name to give it a unique name (esp. with ships,) I will be unable to type the new name into the renaming box. Instead, the game acts as if the dialog box has not popped up, and my keystrokes activate various unit hotkey commands (e.g., when I hit "F", the active unit fortifies.)

Help! Please fix in the first patch!
