Sometimes when I invade an enemy city, some turns later it seems graphically that the city is empty tho I left soldiers in it.
If I click on the city, nothing happens, like it was an enemy again.
If an unit goes into the city, the invasion screen appears!
Sometimes, the same problem occurs again with the same city.
Does this bug exist in the last version? (I have a cool version where barracks are free until gunpowder)

I've had it that when I enter a size 1 city of my own that is unoccupied, the invasion screen appears.

After this, the city is destroyed.

I remember this bug in Civilization for Windows :(

Yep I remember this problem. I never could understand it. I am not sure if it is fixed in later versions, but the bug never really caused me any major problems.

By 'free' until gunpowder, you mean you don't have to spend 40 shields to build them? That is certainly a bit odd.... if you just mean you don't pay a shield per turn to support them, that's normal.

Is it? I thought I saw in a later version that, at some levels (King?) at least, you had to pay 1 GP since the beginning.
In this later version you may also rename cities, which you can't do in mine.

I know that very well. It's a bug. But I think of it as...

An open rebellion challanging your leadership and your existing units have been overrun. Now you need to invade it and crush the rebellion. Your loss of population points justifies the inner-city battle that results.

Whoever said imagination can't be fun? ;-)
