Invitation to a new game

If Håkan knows what he's doing he can absolutely pull a win from here.

Perhaps. But then I handed him a big advantage in the early moves. He still has an advantage, of course, but I now have counterchances I didn't have before. I don't think the fat lady has even climbed the stage yet, let alone started to sing!

You may be right, but I see a definite line to victory.

Nb3 was a possibility, but I prefer a different move

No. I played "15. g4" moving the g-pawn from g2. I think you'll find that's also on the diagram I posted.

Hum.. I must have missed something.

Shouldn't you write your 20 move like this: exd4

------------------
This is my cool book:
John Valdez, vladmir_illych_lenin, Thunderfall, shadowdale, stormerne, Stellar Converter

If the capture is a pawn taking another pawn, it is an internationally acceptable shorthand to write it the way I did, provided it is not ambiguous. Of course there's nothing wrong with writing exd4.

Position after White's (Stormerne's) Bg4 ...
Black (Håkan) to play.

Black still has a slight edge in my opinon, although a draw is possible. White still has many chioces though, and could pull an upset.

I might as well butt in and say that I kind of like white's position here.

Thank you gentlemen for your comments. I have to say that I thought I started this game very badly. After Håkan's 13...e5 I thought I losing.

But now my assessment has changed. I now agree with Anand - I prefer White's game. Time will tell
