Short question for you guys. Haven't found anything on it online, so i guess i'm the only one that haven't got it.

So... Giving the following scenario. Late game, Siamese civilization and hill tiles by river (with hydroplant) with Uranium, Aluminium and Iron all produce 7 shields.

So my question: Shouldn't Iron have one more shield than Al/Ur? Because of the bonus from Forge? Or is there some other bonus i have missed? Really appreciate anyone who can clarify it for me.

I think the all-map-tileyields-view won't show the forge bonus under some circumstances. Better confirm it in the city-view. I guess the tiles are all being worked and all have a mine?

Does the Iron tile happen to be a snow hill? I think that decreases the production/hammers/"shields" by 1. A desert hill though doesn't do that... I don't see the real reason for this either, don't know about any game mechanic/rule that says anything about this.

If the Iron is in a "shared" tile between two cities; you need to confirm the city with the Forge is indeed working it and not the other city; which often the default selection likes to do.
The same goes for every other resource that involves a building improvement.
