During a trade, "If I Had A Million Dollars" by the Barenaked Ladies
When you sign a MPP, "So Happy Together" by the Turtles
When you suffer from disease, "Disease" by Matchbox 20
BTO's "Taking Care Of Business" at just about any time
When you attack, "The Empire Strikes First" by Bad Religion.
(Or just 'War! Huh! What is it good for? Absolutely nothin'!')

You get the idea.. Let's see what you come up with!

P.S. The Sabre Dance is off-limits, because it's hilarious in any concievable situation.

I woke up this morning, and "500" came to me, and I felt terrible. Blau.
We're not suggesting these be put in the game, sabo, but if we were listening to the radio and these came on at the same time as the associated actions, it would be highly ironic and kinda hilarious.

"In Too Deep" by Sum 41, when you're too far in Enemy Territory
"Walking On The Sun" by Smash Mouth, (Or "Toxicity" by System of a Down) when you've polluted the world heavily.

I've had games where the several Civs are furiously building the Spaceship and at the same time trading nukes at the rate of 3 or 4 launches per turn. World War is rampant. Death and carnage are everywhere. The little sun on the bottom right display is a nice bright red :devil2:

I actually had a funny moment with Civ2 and music. Right when I was about to let my first Caravan take its first few steps, the song "Caravan" by Van Morrison was next on the play list of my "Moondance" record! "And now the caravan is on it's way...", had me laugh a bit to myself.

Oh, and the song IS called "Back In The USSR".
