I have a question regarding the Ironworks.

It says that it gives +50% Production with Iron and Coal, but do the resources have to be inside the city's radius (like in Civ3)?

Or do you only need to have access to Iron and Coal to receive the bonuses?

I've also heard that there's some kind of glitch with the Ironworks wonder so that it doesn't work right. Like it doesn't give the production bonuses it should. Is that true?

The reason I'm asking is that I'm considering expending a Great Engineer to rush-complete the wonder, but if it doesn't give the production bonus I don't want to waste the person.

It's broken, save your engineer for another wonder.

I believe it's not working correctly. Fixed probably in the first patch.

Save your engineer unless you want the extra unhealth, because that's all it adds.
