Is a patch in the works?

My first post here....been trying to post since last week but something wouldn't let me post.

First of all, I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!! My kids don't like it, because I play it all the time, but they are learning that when the Romans are around that I need to protect them.

My question is, does anyone know for sure if there is a patch on the way. I've read where many people believe there is one, but I can't confirm it.

Any help would be great.

Wow - If a game ever needed a patch this is it. Never have I seen such a messed up AI for combat.

yes there is a patch in the works, I've seen firaxis people post about it, it will include fixes to things like: no pop up for city in disorder
