Is dll source code in sync with the released game?

So, I was away from modding some time now.

I realized, there was a patch in October and an Update of the DLL Source files in October too.
But later there was another patch, without an update to the DLL files. I wonder now, if the SDK is still in sync with the game.
I compiled the expansion2 dll and it is smaller than the one in my game directory.

Anybody knows, if the dlls where altered with the last patch, or if the difference is due to different compiling?

AFAIK the source is in sync. The compiled version of the source code has never resulted in a .dll file the same size as the one shipped with the game

I just checked my history. And this tells me, that the dll has changed in december, while the source hasn't. It might be possible that I have messed up my updated in october though, and my source is labeled october update while it resembles the december one...

I just wrote a support ticket. Perhaps the answer will clear my doubts.

EDIT:
Maybe they just updated the libraries used. As I don't track them I wouldn't have noticed a change...
