Is it only Age of Ice?

I'm sorry if this is an odd question...but I really would like to play more than just the Age of Ice scenario. It looks like other people are playing other scenarios/mods with it but I have no idea how to do it. I know how to install mods but when I go through the FFH2 directory I'm sort of dumbfounded.

Any info?

Basically what I'm wondering is if it's possible to play with other civilizations and/or have more at the same time than just the ones that are available on the map for Age of Ice standard. Every time I try to play as another civ I can only play as Kylorin...and the only people I can play against are the other two. I remember there being many more civs in previous FFH mods. Are those still here?

Age of Ice is a scenario based on Fall from Heaven 2 - it actually occurs before the time of the main mod (FfH2 starts in the Age of Rebirth). The main mod includes all the civs in the scenario, plus a whole lot more.

Some of the features in Age of Ice are specific to that scenario and aren't in the "epic mod". The next phase of development however adds another 18(?) scenarios of varying complexities and will have some unique mechanics in each, similar to the way Age of Ice did.

I found that page you linked earlier via a linky in Kael's sig. DL'ed Fall from Heaven II, patch "I", and the FfH2 0.32 media pack. I was already playing under Civ4 patch 3.17. Those three FfH2 downloads self install, so that was easy as pie but like the OP, I can only access the Age of Ice scenario. That's the only FfH2 option at the load mod screen. Looking in the FfH folder in my BtS mod folder, Age of Ice is the only one showing up. I don't see a "generic" FfH.

What step are we missing to play something other than just the Age of Ice scenario? (which was great fun btw. Another all-night gaming sleepless night +1)

*edit: I ran the installer a second time with the same results. I ran it a third time, but this time chose to extract it into a different location of my choosing to see what was going on. Low and behold, there it is in MyDownloads! Problem solved. No idea why it wasn't showing up in BtS mod folder. Now to just copy it over to where it's actually supposed to go, and I'll be able to get a bigger taste of FfH.

Known issue and rather irritating. The one with the installer that doesn't locate where it is suppose to go. Most other installers I have used are able to detect the correct path (from the reg. I guess) to where to install, but not FfH. Perhaps this should be noted (perhaps it is I haven't looked) somewhere when you download. All the persons that I have spread this mod. to have done the same mistake (everyone doesn't use the "program files" directory or the "C" drive) so the last time a friend of mine wanted to play "what I played" I volountered to install it for him (easier that way, than to explain).
