You know, you can mod a scenario's code but I was wondering if you can mod the game's code so that if you play a new game, the code would be your own mod and not he Firaxis one. How do you do that?

If you mean the actual game code...well, you'd have to somehow get access to the source code, but I have no clue as to how you'd do that.

If you mean starting a new game with edited rules, that's easy.:)
Just edit the file Civ3Mod.bic and those rules will load when you start a new game. However, you should back up the original Civ3Mod.bic before making changes to it. Otherwise, if you really screwed something up, you'd have to reinstall the game to restore the default rules.

Oh and 4 the Star Wars Mod, how do u install it?

You're getting a little ahead of yourself, there.:D j/k Actually, the Star Wars mod is far from complete, but when it is, there will either be an automated installer made for it, or there will be instructions on where to put the various files. For right now, you can use the units if you want, but it will be a while before the initial version of the mod is finished. Sorry.:(

If programming takes your fancy maybe you should try out Freeciv? ;)
