Hi... I've made a x=128 y=154 map. I remember reading on one of the map threads that maximum y axis height is 128, or is this just speculation. Does someone know definitively? Do I need to spin my map 90 degrees?
When I made a map of 128 plots on the Y axis I found that when zooming out above cloud level all terrain would just go black.
That was just my experience. I did a map of 125 plots and this cleared up the problem. I'd imagine the maximum is 127 since the plots start at 0 (0 to 127 = 128 plots, whereas 0 to 128 = 129 plots )
What's a plot and what's a grid cell? I'm working off a bmp going to WBSav using a utility... it's 128 pixels by 154 high - each of these plots or grid coordinates? I suspect grid as I believe plots, you divide by 4... so 32x38.5 or so plots.
It was mentioned that zooming out beyond the cloud layer caused problems... not having the game, was this bad for playability? Or is just a cosmetic problem.
