Is there a max unit lvl?

Actually, all living combatants in control of the mercurians are automatically reborn as angels regardless of religion.

This is correct. I should have tested it instead of guessing. That makes Angels really cheap, since they can just build Acolytes and suicide them.

Yeah, one thing I am considering is Luchuirup goldenhammer über city+Mercurians+spam crusaders/sons of whatever/radient guard and or bunch of acolytes. I wonder what sould (;)) happen

Wouldn't it be better to get as many priests as possible and try to build the Altar of the Luonnotar to get as high XP disciples as possible?

I once had Brigit die 8 times fending off Mercurian SoDs. The experience she earned was well worth it though, she was a one-angel world-killer once I finally demolished the Mercs!

A good question, primarily on the level of speculative metaphysics: Is Bridget immortal in the same way immortals are?

There is doubt concerning the nature of "the death" that immortals experience, some say they still exist, in some sort of afterlife tavern, waiting for the Turn of the Great Wheel, others say they neither exist nor have consciousness although they may occasionally post on Twitter.

The Elven Mystic Council has speculated that Bridget's immortality is akin to the "immortality" granted by Yvain should one participate in his "Get out of the Netherlands" insurance program. Thus, after Bridget's killed, following a brief intermission, she is reborn unharmed although, perhaps, with a slight headache.

It's not definitive though as the Druid Kael pointed out in his Epistle to the Civfanatics - after the suppression of the Kythiel Heresy - there's little doubt that being reborn as an Infernal Mane makes it easier to gain an apartment in Hyborem City.

What the

I got a headache just trying to read that! :p

It's from several versions back of FFH, but as you can see units can score XP more than 1,000.

It's a lot harder in FFH racking up the XP with caps on killing barbs now, but you can still get some high XP/promotions with the modmods like FF and FF+.

Ahhh, my Dream Team....

Aye ... it would be nice to have some more unlockable high level promotions. Nothing quite as straightforward as the combats I-V ... but fleshing out the various niches more completely, giving unique or shared abilities to high level units, etcetera. Many being civ specific of course, and some ungainable by Vampires.

It would also be nice to have some religious specific promotions as well. and some promos should just be blocked from demons entirely.

(it really irks me that Manticores in FF can have Woodsman I and II)

But you can't rely on hell terrain wiping out all those ancient forests in goodie elf territory. Woodsman for demons is absolutely critical.

It's just odd to me that a random Manticore of Agares (in FF) decided to take the Woodsman I and II promotions and spend the rest of the Game, the REST OF THE GAME mind you, sitting on an ancient forest hill.

Besides, Im fairly certain that Woodsman II is FOL specific. Agares cant really adopt fol :/

Yet, Agares' demons can gain Woodsman II... kinda seems outta place to me. As for Shieam demons ... if ya need Woodsman II ya need FOL for it anyways, iirc XD

I think the prob is that state religion isn't required for the tech, only the tech itself which requires state religion. Ergo Hidden Paths will still get absorbed by the Demons, and enable Woodsman II incorrectly (imho)
