Is there a problem with the PM system?

I have chosen the option to receive a pop-up when I get a PM but I never get one (a pop-up that is, not a PM).

Does anyone else experience this or know what the solution is?

Hasn't worked for me since I was there neither...

It was disabled. It used to be enabled, then to prevent strain on the server I think, it was disabled, and when it was re-enabled it went crazy and started popping up when you didn't have any PMs.

The pop up alert for PMs was casuign 2 0r 3 different problems, at least one on the server end (which I am not familiar with) and one one many of the user's ends (which was very pestiferous0. After some unsucessful attempts to ameliorate these, it was disabled.
