I guess the title is prety self-explaining.

I want to extract the map from a savegame. Is there some way to do this?

Another thing: There seems to be an incompatibility to people without Babylon to run savegames from the ones that have this DLC... I suppose the same happens for Spain DLC... Do anyone know any solution to this?

Thank you a lot and Happy new Year!

1) Reload the saved game, go to the main menu, click Save, there's a "Save Map" button on that screen.
2) Not possible, since any of these runtime "assets" are necessary & must be pre-loaded (within dedicated memory stackspaces) before savegames. Makes sense, since after all the DLCs are purchased by users to obtain supplemental features.

Well, an user of the site I administrate (www.civ-brasil.com) discovered that if you take the DLC files out of their folder the game stops recognizing their existance and load as if there were none. If you just put them back to the folder, it recognizes them again.

That way someone with the patches will be able to generate a savegame that the ones witout the DLCs will be able to run.

If I extract the map from the game, I'll be able to run the game as if there were no patches and generate a save that people will be able to run, as the DLC Civs are not being used in the savegame in question, which is our Game of the Month.

Thanks for your answer!
Cheers!

Sorry for the double-posting.

I saved the map as suggested, but this do not gathers the info on the SPs and civilizations. I also need them...

Cheers!
