Is there a world map of civ3 with the civs at their position?

In civ1 you can play 'play the world' and all the civs you select are at their historically correct positions.
Is there a map like that for civ3? Preferably more (small, big)

There are several "earth maps", but they are all very large afaik.

Have you looked in the maps thread? There is a guide to many of the user made maps, there i a whole section on Earth maps!

I personally favor Rhye's Earth map (180x180). I usually don't play with all civs enabled though, they get really packed in, esp hittites, turks, and byzantines.

I am playing it already for a few days now.
Started as the Iroquois vs the Scandinavians, English, Zulu, Japanese, Chinese, Romans and Arabs.
Enough land for everyone! More for me!

I myself enjoy Teturkhan, or however it is spelled, higher costs for units/buildings/etc, but iron alone adds 2/3 shields, coals adds 12. More units, better units, more unique units, and Spearmen don't kill tanks anymore. Although, the Mongolian Keshik (3.5.3) is more than capable in mountain ranges.
