Is there anyway to continue a single player CivNet game after end of reign/turns?

Hi! So, my last game on CivWin crashed. I started playing CivNet because it seemed more stable. After a while I got a message telling me I have 25 years left of reign, and subsequently the game ended a few turns later.

Is there any way to keep playing it even after the limit? Maybe edit the save-file to set another date? There must be a way!

I'm not sure about CivNet, as I've never used for single player games, but on regular Civ you can continue a game after your reign ends. The only change is that no further scoring will be made.

Maybe that's not possible on CivNet bacause it's intended for multi-player games only... Others may know better, though.

That is what I'm thinking too. I'm hoping someone has some kind of hex edit or know how to extract the files.
