Is there detailed description about official story?

I'v played the 14 officail scenarios. And I'm confusing about the whole story. I don't know which event happened first and which event happened second. I can't be sure about the timeline. Addtionally, I don't understand why something happened. For example,I don't know why Falamar went to play the game with those crazy men. So I want to know if there are some places which describe the whole story?

IIRC Falamar didn't have much choice. He washed up in Perpentach's territory (with a little help from the archangel of the sea) and needed ships to escape and fight Tebryn. Perpentach wouldn't supply him with a navy unless he took part in the war games. And yes, you're right, Perpentach is nuts.

Some of the scenarios are at best tangential but offer insights into the world of Erebus, such the Elven Civil war, Dain's experiences in the Cave of Ancestors or the Khazad emergence from the underdark.
