Xbox Is this game worth getting?

I have civ 4 and 5 the complete editions and civ 6. I am by no means an advanced player, but slightly above average at best. I know this game got a lot of criticism when it came out and want to know if I should buy it. Also, I want to know how easy this game is to learn.

Have you watched playthroughs on YouTube? If so, did you like what you saw?

The game keeps getting better, but if you're not into its art style or core gameplay, you'll regret the purchase.

I've already played 340+ hours and am having a blast.

If you have experience with previous games in the franchise, this one won't be hard to learn. It lacks explanations in many areas, so when you have questions, don't hesitate to ask (but check civilopedia first).
