I was going to post some screenies but I can't seem to find the CIV Folder.
I think my original CIV Folder got corrupt and I had to choose a different file path.
It's not showing up in My Computer -> Program Files [Which is where my Diablo II screenies go].
Btw, I don't plan on getting BtS or Warlords. I don't have the money to spend and honestly, CIV is good just the way it is to me.
I noticed a lot of people bicker over how much they changed CIII to CIV. I like the change. The biggest boner killer for an experienced player is to come to the realization that every player must do essentially the same repetitive tactics to win every game which leads to eventual boredom and burn out.
So I am with all of the CIV fans when I say it fixed everything that was wrong with CIII and improved everything that was great about CIII and CII.
/Edit
I just tried to play another Noble game. This time I tried a large map with only 4 opponents. I figure this will give me breathing space to figure out how things work tech and tile improvement wise.
It seems I always have the misfortune of there not being any Copper in sight and the Iron is always just out of reach. Neither were there any horses in sight, but there damn sure were about 8 Cows in the area a scouted lol. I was, once again, stuck using all Warriors, even up to 800 AD, which is just pathetic.
Even more pathetic, I was getting my ass handed to me by barbarian Axemen and their Warrior lackeys. It seems the AI for barbarians is better than it should be because they sent all of their Axemen straight to my capitol city [Never pillaged one thing, just marched straight to my city, every one of them] and at the same time, sent a few Warriors to destroy all of my tile improvements. So while I had to concentrate 100% of my manpower on stopping those Axemen [Because it takes 4 Warriors to their Axeman it seems] I was helpless to stop their warriors from molesting my tile improvements.
I would expect that from an attacking CIV, but NOT a barbarian.
So yeah, I was near getting WTFPKED by Barbarians in 800 AD.
I discovered that there was ofc. a barbarian city southeast of me that was pumping out all of these irritating bastards. So, even if I had the potential to eventually gather enough warriors to defend my city AND crush theirs at the same time, where does that put me in the race against the other Civs? In dead last and probably in line to get rushed by a Civ as soon as they realize I'm so weak.
So I took a bunch of screenies [Not that I can even find them] and quit playing that game. There is no point in continuing it.
